If you’ve spent some time on social media, you might have noticed the buzz around turmeric. This bright super spice is a great addition to meals and drinks alike. The main active ingredient in turmeric is called curcumin, a strong antioxidant with anti-inflammatory effects. In the morning, early afternoon, or after our workouts, try this citrus and spice tonic by our friend Chef Megan Mitchell to support your health and happiness.
Combine all ingredients in a small pitcher or liquid measuring cup; whisk. Keep covered and refrigerate up to 1 week. Drink ¼ to ½ cup daily, or as needed.
